Microgreen Garnish

Lewellen Farms

The slight peppery taste of their micro sunflowers make them the perfect addition to our savory dishes. You'll see them most often on our jambalayas.

Lavender Whipped Cream

Fields of Fidelis

Though commonly thought of for its amazing fragrance, lavender is also the perfect ingredient to somehow make freshly whipped cream taste even more incredible. It's the perfect companion to a couple of warm beignets.

Want to make your own? Grab some organic lavender from Fields of Fidelis and then follow this simple recipe.

  • Combine 1 bunch lavender with 1 quart heavy cream

  • Let soak in container overnight

  • Strain cream into mixing bowl

Wooden Spoon

Jerry Morgan Woodworking

There's something about a wooden spoon that brings you right back to Maw Maw's kitchen. There's not another artist in the world like Jerry. When he heard our frustrations with trying to find the perfect roux-stirring spoon, he offered to make us a custom "spoontula" (his term, not ours). Get your own custom woodworking by stopping by his booth at the McKinney Farmers Market at Chestnut Square.

A handmade wooden spoon effortlessly scrapes ingredients out of a mixing bowl.
